Starting from March 2002, Violeta is a member of the GOOD OLD AI Research Network. In November 2006, she joined Salzburg Research, Department of Knowledge-based Information Systems, where she currently holds Senior Researcher position.
She received her BSc, MSc and PhD degrees in Information Systems from the Department of Information Systems and Technologies, FON, University of Belgrade, in 1998, 2005 and 2008, respectively.
Her research interests are in the areas of Semantic Web and reasoning, Ontology Engineering and Ontology Design Patterns, Business Processes and Process Theory. She is a member of the Ontology Design Patterns.Editorial Board (January 2009) and a member of the International Association for Ontology and its Applications (January 2010).
